Geronima Geranium

Yes, I know, I name my plants just as I name the local wild life, so sue me already. I’m British, I’m peculiar, eccentric, and as this is a plant, and alive, it gets named.

Meet Geronima Geranium, of the Pelargonium family, she’s visiting for the summer.

I think the habit stems from my childhood, Margot, when we were allowed pets and, as a family, named them. I just carried it over to my houseplants when I left home. 😀

  1. Oh, yes, it’s the proper thing to do, naming your beloved plants, vehicles, water vessels, and starships. 🙂

Ha! Ha! I knew you would understand, Kenny, as I’m sure you do exactly the same thing. We name our babies, right? 😉

Thanks, Veronica. I know I’m not the only one who probably does this, and they are, after all, flowery friends for the summer out on my small balcony!
